Gallery Event

One of my strengths as an educator is being a community builder. I use art as a way to bring people together and make communities stronger. Within the Crown Heights community, I worked with local gallerists and held an end of year showcase at a gallery near my school. This event celebrated the work of my students as well as the local artists of Crown Heights. Being able to teach in the cultural capital of the world has allowed students to have rich, meaningful experiences that would be hard to replicate anywhere else.
